Dear Mr.Sackrison, I demand that you establish a curfew at ten o' clock pm, for children under 18, to help keep the city of lacey a positive place for young people and families to live.Well here are some of my thoughts and ideas that i think why we should have a ten o' clock curfew for the kids that are under the age of eight-teen, in Lacey WA. First off I would like to say that Crimes is one of the reasons why kids get into trouble.A lot of kids graffiti on walls,buildings, homes, and sometimes even people properties.Just imagine your new to the city, and your walking your dog with your 9-year-old daughter.Everywhere you look there is graffiti on buildings,drugs on the ground, trash everywhere, and weirdoes around the corner.Would you want to live with your family in a insecure place? Just think about it. Living near drugs isn't a good thing if you have started a family or just moved to a new town. It's not safe for your family, nor safe for your child. As children live near these things, it will affect us as when we're an adult, and have our own family. There's always a safe place for kids, and living near druggies,and graffiti, probably won't keep kids under the age of 18 to stay safe after ten o' clock pm or safe from meeting strangers.Not only is there all that out there. There are kidnappers, and a bunch of weirdoes there too. Kids need to stay safe, and be responsible. As we do stuff that we shouldn't, like do drugs and get into gangs, it will just continue as we get older, and I know if i had a child, i wouldn't want to live near anything like that. Next the ten o' clock curfew will also help kids save there allowance and help the City spend less. Most kids just spend there money on random stuff they don't need, like for examples drugs,and fast food.Kids our age don't need drugs in our life.Drugs will just become an addiction to kids and shorten our life, and fast food too. Fast Food such as McDonalds, and Burger King is not healthy. Once a week daily is probably the best thing, but some kids will just eat fast food everyday, and spend there money.The city also won't have to put that much cops on the street, looking for kids, but instead of looking for drug dealers and other victims.It will also help the city from cleaning up the Graffiti on the fences and buildings.In the day time not a lot of weirdoes are out, and at night there is more then the day time and 95% of the kids that go out after nine o' clock, get harassed or kidnap. I know i wouldn't want to have my child stay outside at night, without any adults around. So that is why I demand that you establish a curfew at ten o' clock pm, for kids under the age of eight-teen, to help keep the city of Lacey a positive place for young people and families to live, in a safe and responsible place.
